My vacation has come to an end and I will leave Sri Lanka early tomorrow morning. I have been reflecting a lot about Jessica’s story. Her story is tough to swallow.  I remember feeling anger, resentment and confusion when I was reading her diaries. I wish that things could have turned out differently, why this way?

Often times Jessica has a drink to try and forget the pain that she has inside. Jessica has been tempted a couple times to rebel and go out drinking in clubs and bars. One of her close friends, who she has also talked to about her secrets, told her that rebelling would not solve anything. He helped her understand that going into the bars and clubs would go against everything that she is and earn her a bad name.
